EXPOSED: Love triangle that pushed out senior K’Ogalo player

A senior Gor Mahia player was recently forced to walk out on the club in the wake of a love triangle involving another player, Nairobi News can exclusively reveal.

The situation is said to have spiraled out of control in the past year, when the ‘guilty’ player – who has played for Gor Mahia for several seasons and is also a Kenya international – reportedly eloped which a lady who happens to be another player’s girlfriend.

At that time, the cuckolded player was playing at another club.

RUSHED TRANSFER

He however would secure a move to K’Ogalo in December, a transfer that brought him face-to-face with his new teammate who snatched his girlfriend.

To avert a possible confrontation in the training ground and on the pitch, the ‘girlfriend snatcher’ hastened a last minute move from K’Ogalo even though he had committed to signing a new deal just a few months back.

“There was no chance these two players could reconcile and even play together. No chance. The management couldn’t imagine a situation where one is supposed to create an assist, or even communicate to the other on the pitch. Which is a shame, because both players are of good quality,” a source explained.
