Kenyans on social media are sending messages of condolences to the family of former Vice President Michael Kijana Wamalwa following the death of Yvonne Wamalwa on Thursday morning.
According to family sources, Yvonne died at a hospital in Nanyuki.
Netizens have expressed their shock and disbelief at the demise of Mrs Wamalwa who they eulogized as a great person.
Family and friends of the deceased, led by Water Cabinet Secretary, Eugene Wamalwa, will gather at Lee Funeral home at 2pm where they will receive her body which is on transit from Nanyuki.
