Machine Operator

Our client, a global leader in labeling and packaging materials and offering solutions is looking to recruit a Machine Operator. The ideal candidate MUST have 1-year experience in a similar role. He/she must have proven experience working in a manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures & related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
• Tend manual, automatic or semi-automatic machines & related equipment’s in continuous production /processing operations.
• Set up machine requiring high level of precision and the interaction of multiple variables.
• Loads raw material into machine, determine & control the machine cycle varying and modifying as necessary, and unload finished products.
• Perform tests and checks products routinely for multiple characteristics using standard measuring devices.
• Report any malefactions or abnormalities and make minor adjustments and repairs to equipment.
• Maintain production record and logs of equipment & product performance.
• Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical processes or other control procedure.
• Practice all health and safety procedures, policies and practices.
• Ensure proper booking of production metrics in MFG Pro Software.

Qualification:

• Must be a recent graduate with Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Must have 1-year experience in machine operations.
• Must have proven experience working in a manufacturing industry.
• Proven knowledge of ISO 9000 procedures.
• Presentable and attentive to details.
