Nairobi Water company begins phasing out of cash offices

The Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company has announcement the commencement of closure of all its cash offices, also known as banking halls, across the city.

In effect, customers will now be required to make payments via electronic fund transfer and also through the company’s website.

In a notice to customers published on local dailies on Monday, the company said that the affected branches include Karen, Kampala road, Central Region (Enterprise road), Parklands and North Eastern Region (Eastleigh) office, Southern Region (off Joseph Kang’ethe road), and western region (The Mall Westlands), Northern Region (Showbe Plaza), Eastern Region (pinnacle building), and Kasarani cash offices will close down effectively on the 31^st of March.

The Cameo CBD office will close on June 30.

Customers have also been advised to make payments of bills through the following banks within Nairobi’s CBD: NIC Bank, Barclays Bank, Citi Bank, Cooperative Bank, Equity Bank, Sidian Bank and Diamond Trust Bank.
