Mechanical Engineer

Our client, one of Africa’s Leading multidisciplinary Engineering, Projects and Operations Management groups is looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer. The successful candidate must have a minimum 5 years as a consulting engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoots, maintains, inspects and repair HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoots, maintain, inspect and repair Air Conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Maintain and inspect fan, motors, pump and electric controls.
• Execute work orders for maintenance, repair and testing of HVAC equipment.
• Relieve electrical technician.
• Diagnose faults.
• Daily inspection of maintenance plant.
• Oversee sub-contractor service and performance.
• Maintain asset records.

Qualification:

• Must have a bachelor’s of Engineering degree.
• Must have design and construction supervision experience in HVAC, Plumbing & drainage.
• Must be a registered Professional Engineer with Engineer Board of Kenya.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years as consulting engineer.
• Must have design and construction supervision experience in electrical /ICT in a building services, hotels/apartments.
• Capable of running projects and projects team unsupervised.
• Must be familiar with quality control system.
