In my view, the list of the appointed Advisors is rather wanting in the following ten (10) respects:-

1. It does not meet the 30% Gender threshold: *out of 14 Members, only 3 are women.*

2. There is *zero representation of youths.* None of the people in that list is under 40 years.

3. *Some communities are not represented at all in that list,* for instance, there is no Indian in that list while other communities have more than one Advisor.

4. *Muslim religious leaders have not been represented at all.*

5. *The list includes so many Members of Tribal Councils of Elders* including GEMA when we know the main stay of most of these groups is tribalism.

6. *There are no representatives of special interest groups* such as media, labour, private sector, professionals and civil society.

7. Some of the *Old KANU stalwarts/sycophants* like Amos Wako and Yusuf Haji have nothing knew to bring to the table.

8. I stand to be corrected but *do we have a representative of people living with disabilities in that list?*

9. *Kenyans living in diaspora make a huge contribution to our unity and disunity as a country,* why weren’t one or two included to bring new perspective?

10. Counties are key pillars in building bridges, *how come we don’t have representatives of Council of Governors and Members of County Assemblies?*
