Our client a dynamic Supply Chain Process and Customs Brokerage Company that offer support in clearing, forwarding and documentation is looking to recruit an experienced Sales Executive. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years in the Logistics sector and holding recognized qualifications in Freight Forwarding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work towards retaining existing customers & winning incremental revenue from them.
- Help draft proposals and other documentation for customers in liaison with operations team.
- Prepare quotations for air, sea, road, imports and exports worldwide.
- Prepare quotations for local and international projects and tenders.
- Conduct regular sales visits to customers; produce & share follow up reports.
- Assist in preparing monthly sales report to accounts department.
- Collaborate with other departments to consistently provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain a proactive and collaborative approach to problem solving for customers.
- Collaborating with the operations department to provide solutions for customers.
- Sourcing for rates from partners in liaison with BDM and/or Sales manager.
- Maintain quotation log and give monthly reports with analysis of results.
- Assist in preparing new collateral materials to support business development efforts.
- Assist in maintaining ISO certification & updating when required with HR & Sales Manager.
- Assist in preparing tender quotes & following up until converted into profitable business.
- Any other duties as indicated by the employer.
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Logistics sector.
- Must have recognized qualifications in freight forwarding.
- Ability to confidently interact with client representatives at all levels.
- Expert communication, multi-tasking and organization skills.
- Strong relationship building skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure.
