Accountant – Sage Evolution

Our client, a well-established Contracting Company dealing with plumbing, drainage and fire protection services is looking to recruit an Accountant. The successful candidate must have experience working with Sage evolution. He/ she must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience with statutory compliance.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure Corporation tax are filed and paid within the statutory guidelines.
• Plan & oversee all daily, weekly and monthly cash requirements.
• Prepare reconciliation of supplier balances in the ledgers against supplier statements.
• Assist in the preparation of general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations for all captions
• in the trial balance.
• Ensure all filing of financial documentation is maintained accurately.
• Prepare reconciliation of supplier balances in the ledgers against supplier statements.
• Produce accurate reports.

Qualifications:

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Commerce Accounting/Finance option.
• Must be CPA finalist.
• Must be proficient with Sage Evolution.
• Must have experience with statutory compliance.
• Must a minimum of 2 years’ experience as an accountant.
• Must be presentable, detail oriented and ability to work under pressure.
• Coordinate bank cheque collection and deposits.
• Ensure that all debtors’ correspondence is carried professionally.
• Provide finance support to local business.
