Our client, a dynamic and Multi-cultural Travel (Tour guide) company is looking to recruit a Tanzanian Operations Assistant to assist in the overall day to day running and efficient maintenance of the company’s standards. The ideal candidate must have an approachable personality, have an understanding of the meet and greet aspects and with solid experience in the management of service providers. He/she MUST be a Tanzanian Citizen and fluent in English (Both Spoken and written).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct management of guides, drivers, vehicles, branded materials and office supplies.
  • Compiling and updating property details and quotations for the sales team.
  • Manage the operations in the maintenance of standards and ensuring that all deadlines are met.
  • Providing unidirectional focus in operations to maintaining the client/Agent’s relationships.
  • Meeting the clients upon arrival and departure at the airport for briefings.
  • Booking for accommodation and airlines for guests.
  • Maintaining proper communication and coordination of the client’s trips.

Qualifications:

  • MUST be a Tanzanian Citizen and fluent in English (Both Spoken and written).
  • Must have a Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism management.
  • Must have more than 3 years of experience as a tour guide/meet and greet person.
  • Must be creative and solution oriented.
  • Bubbly personality and excellent communicator.
  • Candidates with international experience will have an added advantage.
