Roses Farm Managers – 2 Positions Outcast of Nairobi

A dynamic Agricultural Company with Farms in the outcasts of Nairobi is seeking to recruit a 2 Farm Managers for their 2 Farm based out of Nairobi.  The successful candidate will take overall charge administratively for the Farm. The ideal candidate Must have prior experience working as a Farm Manager in the floriculture division (Roses).

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet and surpass production budget.
• Operate the farm within the agreed budgeted cost parameters.
• Carry out timely and regular meetings with all department heads.
• Coordinate the activities and Performance of the Production, Pack house, Propagation, HR, Finance, Security, & Compliance departments.
• Ensure that farm continually meets all standards required by all International auditing Agencies, union & Government legislative bodies.
• Submit monthly reports to board of directors.

Qualifications:

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or relevant field.
• Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in farm management.
• Must have prior experience working as a Farm Manager in the floriculture division (Roses).
• Must have hands-on experience in checking machineries & equipment’s.
• Candidates with technical operations background in a farm will have an added advantage.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• High integrity and a good understanding of perishable produce.
