On May 25th in 2017 Zari Hassan mourned the death of her later ex husband Ivan Ssemwanga who is the father of her older sons. Ivan died at The Steve Biko Hospital in Pretoria South Africa after suffering a stroke and blood spillage in his brain.
Zari recently shared a throwback photo of Ivan when he was still a hustler and their son Pinto was still a baby. She captioned the photo: Can’t believe its almost a year since God called you, it seems like yesterday. No day passes that i don’t pray for you and mom. May your souls continue resting in peace.
