Our client, developer, owner and operator of power plants and infrastructure across sub-Saharan Africa are currently seeking to recruit Administrative Secretary (2 positions) to be based in Nakuru. The ideal candidate Must have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role. He/ she must be currently living in Nakuru.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering calls, taking messages and handling correspondence.
  • Maintaining diaries and arranging appointments.
  • Typing, preparing and collating reports.
  • Filing.
  • Organizing and servicing meetings (producing agendas and taking minutes).
  • Managing databases.
  • Prioritizing workloads.
  • Implementing new procedures and administrative systems.
  • Liaising with relevant organizations and clients.
  • Logging or processing bills or expenses.
  • Acting as a receptionist and/or meeting and greeting clients.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a bachelor in Business Administration or related field.
  • Must have excellent communication, customer service & relationship-building skills.
  • Must be currently living in Nakuru.
  • Team working skills and attentive to details.
  • Must be willing to occasionally travel to Nairobi.
  • The ability to be proactive and use your initiative: to see what needs doing and to do it
  • The ability to use standard software packages (e.g. Microsoft Office).
