Our client, developer, owner and operator of power plants and infrastructure across sub-Saharan Africa are currently seeking to recruit Administrative Secretary (2 positions) to be based in Nakuru. The ideal candidate Must have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role. He/ she must be currently living in Nakuru.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering calls, taking messages and handling correspondence.
- Maintaining diaries and arranging appointments.
- Typing, preparing and collating reports.
- Filing.
- Organizing and servicing meetings (producing agendas and taking minutes).
- Managing databases.
- Prioritizing workloads.
- Implementing new procedures and administrative systems.
- Liaising with relevant organizations and clients.
- Logging or processing bills or expenses.
- Acting as a receptionist and/or meeting and greeting clients.
Qualifications:
- Must have a bachelor in Business Administration or related field.
- Must have excellent communication, customer service & relationship-building skills.
- Must be currently living in Nakuru.
- Team working skills and attentive to details.
- Must be willing to occasionally travel to Nairobi.
- The ability to be proactive and use your initiative: to see what needs doing and to do it
- The ability to use standard software packages (e.g. Microsoft Office).
