A leading manufacturer of medical precision machinery and instruments with Head office in Dubai is looking for an NDT Level III Manager in East Africa. This particular position will be focused on the “The Scientific Solutions Division” – which is based on innovative products and services that anticipate the evolving needs and exceed the expectations of professionals from industrial and life science segments. The successful candidate’s will be responsible for Sales and Business Development as well as Distribution Management. Experience working for a Multinational is a MUST ! As well as background and strong knowledge in either Oil & Gas Sector/Power Generation/Inspection Service Companies and/or Mining.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth & share win through Go-to-Market optimization, Channel Management and Technical Selling Excellence.
  • Contribute to Strategic planning, and growth initiatives related to Conventional and Advanced NDT portfolio.
  • Drive the Advanced NDT (UT PA) pipeline, lead distributor teams / specialists and co-share the ownership of executing the Advanced NDT pipeline with Regional Sales Managers to deliver expected sales growth and share win.
  • Coordinate initiatives with cross-functional departments to increase visibility through transformative marketing, technical workshops and training to improve Customer Experience by expanding our Service Offering.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key Customer stakeholders in the region to contribute to the companies brand visibility, secure insightful information on key projects as well as anticipate changes in local regulations or market trends.
  • Develop and conduct a regional training strategy, to the sales managers, channel partners team, customers and end-users in cooperation with Global Product Managers at HQ.
  • Participate in sales and product marketing roadshows, and organize technical trainings and workshops.
  • Collaborate closely with the company’s compliance dept. to insure full compliance with company policies.

Qualifications:

  • NDE / QC industry with areas of expertise including project management, supervision, AUT supervisor/system operator, supplier qualification, Procedure qualification, Technique Validation, NDT instructor and senior technician utilizing all NDT methods.
  • Advanced Ultra Sonic Testing (AUT) Inspection or inspector.
  • Level 3 NDT Eddy Current Testing & Phased Array (is highly recommended).
  • Technical Sales, Business Development or Distributors (Channel Partners) Management skills.
  • Strong background and strong knowledge in at least 2 of following fields : O&G, Power Generation, Inspection Service Companies and/or Mining.
  • Sales Funnel Management, presentation, CRM management skills.
  • English, French (Portuguese is an added advantage).
  • Training and Report skills.
  • Ability to working in International companies & Matrix organisation (environment).
  • Self-Driven & ability to work remotely.
  • Target Oriented.
