Senior Group Compliance Officer

Our client, a well-established Limited Company is currently looking to recruit a Senior Compliance Officer. He/she must have the ability to analyse situations for compliance and business risk, and implement solutions to address and mitigate such risk and must have Training in ISO 9001:2015

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, maintain, and update the Group’s statutory returns except financial returns.
• Develop, maintain, and update the Group’s compliance policies and procedures.
• Conduct employee training with respect to the compliance program.
• Conduct the annual review of the Group’s policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments; recommend risk mitigation techniques and controls.
• Coordinate external statutory audits and follow up to ensure all recommendations are implemented.
• Manage the group’s certification processes to ensure that all certification requirements are adhered to.
• Maintain a database of all licenses and contracts and ensure timely renewal
• Monitor new legal and regulatory developments and update policies and procedures accordingly.
• Manage the insurance docket of the Group.
• Carry out compliance audits under the guidance of the Group Compliance Manager
• Manage the Whistle-blower programme.
• Initiate and implement the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification programme.

Qualifications:

• Must have a degree in Finance or Business related field.
• Must be trained in  ISO 9001:2015.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years in a professional Compliance function.
• Must have working knowledge of ACL, or equivalent data mining software.
• Must possess a high moral character and professional integrity.
• Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and highly accurate.
• Strong management & leadership abilities.
• Must have Business process and risk analysis techniques.
• Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
