Cook/Housekeeper

Are you an experienced Cook with excellent culinary skills and housekeeping techniques? Our client based in Karen is looking to recruit a detail-oriented Cook with good knowledge of European, Indian and Italian cuisines. The cook will be responsible for ensuring all kitchen/cooking responsibilities are well executed as well as maintain a clean, sanitary, comfortable and tidy environment. He/she is to ensure smooth supplies and management of inventory. He/she must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a chef. Accommodation will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor food stock and place orders.
• Come up with recipes and food plans.
• Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness.
• Monitor and report necessary domestic repairs and replacements.
• Run domestic errands for employer.

Qualifications:

• Must have at least a Certificate in Hotel Management &/or related field.
• Must have at least 5 years proven work experience as a cook/housekeeper.
• Must possess good inventory management skills.
• Must possess excellent culinary skills.
• Must have worked with expatriates or in a multicultural environment.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
