Financial Analyst

Our client, a Global Security Company with headquarters in Nairobi is looking to recruit a Financial Analyst. The ideal candidate must have 5 years of experience in Financial Analysis.

Key responsibilities:

•  Develop & manage budgets, budget notes/narratives, annual specific project budgets, etc.
• Budgets and forecasting liaising with key stakeholders.
• Perform revenue analysis, calculations and reporting on monthly basis.
• Develop new strategies to improve accuracy and timeliness of revenue management.
• Determine monthly revenue forecast and identify revenue opportunities.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for management decision making.
• Generating monthly reporting for submission to head office.
• Overseeing costs and cash flow reports.
• Supporting management with key MI reports and analysis.
• Providing ad-hoc duties to support the finance department and wider business.
• Build, update, enhance and manage continuous improvement in pricing models and processes.
• Support management to develop wining pricing strategies for portfolio of products.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Commerce or any relevant degree.
• 5+ years of relevant experience of providing financial leadership in multifunctional teams.
• Exceptional track record of success & making a difference in previous roles.
• Financial analysis expertise & proficient accounting skills.
• Strong Excel, Word & Power Point Proficiency.
• Strategic thinker in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
• Well-organized individual with excellent attention to details.
• Experience in building models, business case and investment appraisal processes.
