Our client, an International five-star hotel is looking for a multi-skilled Sales Executive who will be responsible for clerical, administrative, sales, collateral, and other duties for smooth operations of the sales department. The ideal candidate must have more than 5 years of experience in fast-paced Three-star hotel, with proven experience in market survey, administration, business development and a clear understanding of key safety regulations in the hospitality sector. The candidate must be passionate about his/her profession, with a customer-satisfaction focus, bubbly, warm and with a friendly disposition. Experience in Sales of the tour and travel companies will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute business development and ensure market growth to meet the set sales targets.
- Take charge of all the administrative duties and customer care within allocated areas.
- Monitor and always ensure exceptional customer service in the hotel.
- Maintain continuous response to clients calls, inquiries, voicemails and emails and resolve guest complains.
- Ensure that hygiene checks are carried out and implement corrective actions to maintain high hygiene standards.
- Coordinate all the events and meetings in the hotel.
- Maintain highest standards of personal appearance and grooming among the staff.
- Be responsible for all the hotel’s social media platforms.
- Keeping track of the standard of service delivered, based on the guest comments and quality audits.
- Ensuring that the security of the people and property in the hotel is maintained.
Qualifications:
- Must be a holder of a bachelor’s degree in International Business, Business Management, Commerce or related courses.
- Diploma in marketing will be an added advantage.
- Must have over 5 years’ experience in the hospitality sector.
- Must have experience in establishment of a client retention strategy for both new and existing customers.
- Must have experience in sales proposal preparation and tender documentation.
- Must have a clear understanding of the safety regulations and its application in the hospitality sector.
- Experience in Sales of the tour and travel companies will be an added advantage.
- Must possess customer relations, problem-solving, business development and events management skills.
