Sales Team Leader (Gujarati, Punjabi or Hindu Speaking) – Nairobi.

One of Kenya’s premier Building & Interior Manufacturing Company with various Retail shops across the country is looking to recruit a Sales Team Leader to support in the handling of the clients and serving them according to their needs to maximize retail sales. The person will be responsible for leading the sales force in allocated area on a day to day basis, ensuring they are performing to the highest possible sales standards with every walk-in client. The successful candidate MUST be a Gujarati, Punjabi or Hindu speaking graduate, with a degree in any Business course and with substantial 3 – 4 Years of experience in the building and construction Industry.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Manage and lead Retail Sales team to achieve budget sales targets, revenues and profits.
• Proactively manage and build relationships with the clients.
• Manage sales activities through proactive prospecting and inquiries follow up.
• Ensure high level of customer delight and satisfaction through proactive service delivery.
• Ensure timely response & attendance to all enquiries and quotations while adhering to internal pricing & process guidelines.
• Coordinate deliveries to clients by ensuring customers quotations/memo, invoice and delivery details are connected.
• Develop and analyse reports relating to prospecting, showroom traffic and conversion ratios.
• Manage assigned products category by ensuring products are displayed and sold.
• Manage the stock and ensure that obsolete stock does not exceed 10%.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Gujarati, Punjabi or Hindu speaking.
• A Diploma/Degree in any Business-related course will be an added advantage.
• At least 3 to 4 years’ experience in sales in the building and construction industry.
• Must have experience in handling and/or selling sanitary wear and floor tiles.
• Must have an excellent network in the building and construction industry.
• Must have experience in sales team management.
• Must be willing to work from Monday to Saturday.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills are mandatory.
