Security Analyst / Operation Supervisor – Karen, Kenya

Our client, a well-established Security Firm specializing in providing analysis, risk assessment and specialized consulting is looking to recruit an experienced Security Analyst / Operation Supervisor. He/she MUST have proven experience in writing intelligence assessments & reporting on both political risk & security threats. In addition to this, the successful candidate will be required to have quantitative analysis tools and report preparation.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for collation, real time reporting, draft analysis and assessment documents.
• Direct input into the development and implementation of Company policy, plans and procedures.
• Identify and analyses key political & security incidents pertaining to events.
• Contribute to written analyses and assessments, including near term briefs for Key countries.
• Collecting, collating, analyzing and managing security information produce.
• Organize evacuation and coordinate emergency response.
• Conducting security assessments, security survey and audits.
• Supervise operations centre staff, including supporting communications.
• Monitoring, oversight and input into data collection platforms & devices.

Qualification:

• Must have a Business bachelor’s degree.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
• Strong report writing skills are mandatory.
• Experience in writing SOPs and crisis response procedures.
• Excellent ability to communicate verbally and in writing to produce quality reports for clients.
• Experience working in East and Horn Africa.
• Ability to speak Somali, Arabic and French will be a distinct advantage.
• Experience in tracking platforms and response procedures.
• Must have relevant experience in Defense and Security industry mandatory.
