
Our client, an upmarket Safari company, is looking for a Front of House Manager. The successful candidate will directly supervise all front of house personnel and ensure proper completion of all front of house duties including assisting the Boats Activity Manager with daily administration, directing and coordinating activities of the front desk, guides and boats, reservations, guest services, and telecommunication. The desired candidate Must have over one year of hotel/lodge front desk supervisory experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Recruiting, training, conducting performance evaluations, disciplining employees
• Approving formal requisitions, conducting general business operations and maintaining personnel records
• Identify inefficiencies and provide solutions
• Ordering correct office supplies in a timely way
• Perform bookkeeping, invoicing, and accounting
• Provide motivation and effective leadership
Qualification:
• Minimum of one year of hotel/lodge front desk supervisory experience
• Minimum two-year college degree
• Experience handling cash, accounting procedures, and general administrative tasks
• A wide range of computer skills
• Ability to lead, train, influence and motivate
• Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and spoken
• Strong customer focus
