Twenty one Nairobi Matatu Saccos have sued the Nairobi County government over the ban prohibiting Public Service Vehicles from accessing the Central Business District.
They claim that the ban has been effected without adequate notice, ignored public participation and several court orders that protect some operators from being hounded out of CBD.
The saccos moved to court hours after Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja also sought a court order to lift the ban.
