Finance Manager- Kampala, Uganda

Our client, a leading manufacturing company in its sector, is looking for a Finance Manager for its offices in Kampala. He/She will be responsible for managing the day to day financial operations and will be a part of the core Management team in Uganda to assist in decision making. Experience in the Manufacturing sector is a MUST!

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Manage the day to day financial operations of the company
• Lead a small finance team
• Responsible for reconciling customer and supplier statements, payments and collections
• Ensure Financial Reporting and handle statutory reporting
• Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures
• Analyze costs and monitor the financial performance of the company comparted to the business plan
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and new projections
• Assist External auditors in preparing audited Financial Statements

Qualifications
• Minimum of a BA in a relevant field – Masters degree is preferred
• CPA/ACCA qualification
• 10+ years of professional experience
• 3+ years experience in a Senior Financial Accounting role
• Manufacturing experience
• Experience working with SAP
• Quantitative, precise and high attention to detail
• Excellent reporting and communication skills
