Holiday over-spenders make hilarious jokes about school fees

It’s the back to school season and Kenyans on Twitter are joking about the impending school fees burden.

This is after many over spent during the festive season and now have to face up to the financial realities of the New Year.

Schools are set to reopen for the first term starting this week and on Twitter parents are joking how they drunk away money meant for their children’s school fees.

Using hilarious memes and statements, tweeps are joking of how they had banked on the teacher’s strike to buy them more time.

Some reminisced how last week’s expenditure ate into school fees, while others did a list of every financial need they had in January.
