Mechanical Engineer – Kajiado

Our client, a well-established Steel Company in East and Central Africa dealing with design, fabrication and erection of all types structural steel works is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer. The ideal candidates Must have excellent understanding of steel fabrication.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance/installation of Machines.
• Repair work in Cranes, Vacuum Pumps, Forklift, Motor winding.
• Expected to maintain list of machines and carry-on periodic maintenance.
• Interact with supplier/machine manufacturers to maintain machines in running condition.
• Identify & maintain critical spares & standby equipment.

 Qualifications:

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Must have excellent understanding of steel fabrication.
• Must have a minimum 5 years’ experience in the steel fabrication industry.
• Experience in working in a steel fabrication office / workshop.
• Good Knowledge of AutoCAD and understanding drawings.
• Must be a team player.
• Must be Knowledgeable in CNC machinery.
