Supreme Court upholds election of Homa Bay Governor Awiti

The Supreme Court has upheld the election of Homa Bay Governor Cyprian Awiti after striking out an election petition by his rival Oyugi Magwang’a.

Governor Awiti moved to the Supreme Court after the Court of Appeal upheld a decision by the High Court to nullify the election.
