A Popular Lifestyle Magazine in Kenya is looking for a motivated and target driven Sales Executive to join their Sales team. The successful candidates will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers and overseeing sales responsibilities include discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, negotiating deals and maintaining customer satisfaction. He/she must have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented. Experience working in an Agency is a MUST!
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop & execute strategies to drive business in new & existing markets.
· Timely and accurate forecasting to build predictable and recurring revenue. · Establish and maintain positive business and customer relationships. · Bring in a new list of clientele to grow the Magazine. · Build rapport and establish long term relationships with new clients. · Grow sales and correctly implement & use CRM system. · Partake in conceptualizing new avenues of advertising and partnerships for clients. · Identify business opportunities with prospective customers. · Analyze opportunities by researching the industry and market trends. · Process correspondence and paperwork related to accounts. · Prepare and deliver sales presentations to new and existing clients. · Deliver advertising or illustration proofs to clients for approval. |
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject.
· 3+ years or equivalent experience in media sales. · Sales and account management experience. · Strong time-management and operational skills. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems and Linked In. · Demonstrate a track record of achieving targets. · Strong negotiating skills.
