The event in Kiambu attracted a a host of dignitaries who included area members of parliament, members of the county assembly and residents of the county.
Nyoro takes over as county boss from Ferdinand Waititu who was impeached by Kiambu MCAs in a move that was approved by the Senate on Wednesday evening.
His swearing in ceremony was gazetted afresh on Thursday evening after Justice Onyiego, who was supposed to swear him in on Thursday morning failed to show up raising constitutional concerns.
This also comes only hours after High court Judge Weldon Korir declined a bid by Waititu, who was challenging his impeachment, to stop the ceremony.
