Our client, an International NGO registered in Kenya is looking to recruit a Record Manager. The ideal candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in records management or a related field. They are looking for a Record Manager to oversee the organization’s records from their creation and preservation through to disposal. Candidate with working experience is necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct an audit of both physical and electronic staff files as per the checklists provided.
  • Ensure completeness of all files by following up on any missing documents.
  • Back up all documents from the files.
  • Data entry of information from the physical files to the electronic HR system.
  • Verification of all documents in the files to ensure authenticity and accuracy.
  • Filing and labeling of all physical documents pertaining to the lifecycle of staff members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Records Management or related field.
  • Must have knowledge & practical experience using advanced Microsoft Excel in a commercial setup.
  • Have excellent analytical thinking and organizational skills.
  • Must have experience with records management.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills, attention to detail & problem-solving skills.
