Our client, a well-established Shipping & Logistics company is looking for an experienced and dedicated Logistics Sales Executive to join their team. The desired candidate should possess outstanding sales experience & honed customer service skills. The ideal candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Business and at least 3 years’ sales experience in logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and align with sales growth strategies and plans.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of business services and value proposition.
- Identify and map business strength and customer needs.
- Manage individual selling process.
- Researching business opportunities, viable income streams, developing pipelines, converting to increase high GP client base.
- Continuously improve customer satisfaction.
- Customer Relationship Management.
- Effective stakeholder management.
- Adherence to credit and other policies.
- Strong negotiation skills, business proposals and contracts.
- Effective conflict resolution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
- Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- 3-5 years’ experience in Shipping, Logistics and Forwarding environments.
- Professional certification and membership.
- Excellent knowledge in Ms Office and other software.
- Familiarity with BRM and CRM.
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record.
- Ability to create presentations tailored to customer needs.
- Knowledge of the commodity market especially fertilizer, steel, grain, chemicals, edible oil, gas, project cargo, warehousing etc.
- Reporting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
