Our client, an international College in Kuwait is looking for a dynamic and engaged full-time Chemistry Lecturer for its newly established School of Engineering and general education program. The ideal candidate is an innovative professional who leverages professional trends and technologies to deliver relevant classroom experiences. Must have a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry or related field & 5 years’ experience teaching a recognised university.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach chemistry courses for engineering students and our general education program.
  • Utilize and teach theoretical and practical basic chemistry, general chemistry for engineering and advanced chemistry courses.
  • Demonstrate experience with standard industry tools, including ChemDraw, AMBER, DFTB+, and Quantum Espresso.
  • The position carries the expectation for research and school and college service in addition to teaching responsibilities.
  • Leadership in undergraduate programs, curriculum development, mentoring, and startups.
  • Diversify our curriculum and the faculty regarding race, gender, and ethnicity.

 Qualifications:

  • Must have a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry or related field.
  • Must have 5 years’ experience teaching a recognised university.
  • Commitment to excellence in teaching and scholarship.
  • Willing to relocate to
  • Interest and experience working effectively with a diverse university community.
  • Ability and willingness to work collaboratively with faculty from a variety of disciplines.
  • Must be passionate about teaching and mentoring students, building successful learning environments.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Leader and current, active member of the chemistry field.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
