Dean – School of Business (Kuwait).

Our client, a newly established International College in Kuwait offering American style education, degrees and majors is looking to recruit a Dean for their School of Business. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising all aspects of the school of Business. Must currently be Professor/Associate Professor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising full time and adjunct faculty.
• Managing degree programs within the school.
• Participate in course scheduling.
• Overseeing in Curriculum Development.
• Conduct course and degree program assessment.
• Oversee website maintenance for the School.
• Search for new and replacement positions.
• Budget for the School.
• Promotion of Research and Scholarship.
• Maintaining the Business Advisory Committee for the school.

Qualifications:

• Must have a Doctoral degree in a relevant academic field from a reputable university.
• Documented record of administrative leadership experience.
• Minimum of six years of teaching and research at a higher education institute.
• Current academic rank of Professor/Associate Professor.
• Demonstrated record of collaborative decision-making.
• Must have experience in a multicultural and multi-linguistic environment.
• Must have demonstrated experience with budget management.
• An entrepreneurial spirit.
• Experience with the American institutional accreditation system and process.
