Sales Supervisor – Mombasa, Kenya.

Our client, a dairy company that manufactures frozen dairy products, is looking to recruit a Sales Supervisor to be based in Mombasa. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring & enhancing compliance at the Sales Depots. He/she MUST have Prior experience supervising a team, preferably in FMCG. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor compliance on a daily basis at various depots.
• Developing strategies on discovering and pursuing new sales prospects & markets for vendors.
• Working closely with Sales Officers & Market Controllers to meet daily, weekly & monthly sales targets.
• Reviewing sales performance of the various depots by measuring the stated KPIs
• Supervise and motivate depot staff.
• Conduct formal audits at depots in accordance with the company’s processes.
• Participate in and sometimes manage meetings with sales staff.
• Take part in market stormings for new depots.
• Offer support to Market Controllers in the market or at the depot.
• Work with the team on the development of action plans to increase depot performance.

Qualifications:

• Have a relevant bachelor’s degree.
• Must have prior experience supervising a team in FMCG.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Have strong attention to detail and approach tasks with a structured mindset.
• Be willing to learn and adapt to a new environment easily.
• He/she should be proactive, energetic & results-oriented.
• Have the ability to train & motivate a team.
