Our client, an Online Education Company that assists Universities in converting their on-campus degree program to an engaging online format is looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to support university partnerships. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing a contractual relationship with targeted universities for the comprehensive management of their online programs. He/ she Must have relevant experience working in higher education sales.
Key Responsibilities: –
- Establishing relationships with key stakeholders i.e. Vice-Chancellors, Deputy Vice-Chancellors, Deans & Faculty members.
- Responsible for securing new university contracts in alignment with specific “on-model” characteristics & combination of high demand programs.
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain & customer satisfaction.
- Conduct research to identify new markets & customer needs.
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
Qualification: –
- Must have a master’s degree.
- Must have a relevant bachelor’s degree.
- 8 – 10 years of experience & proven track record in business development.
- Excellent background in consultative sales approach.
- Experience in higher education sales is mandatory.
- Experience dealing with high-level executives.
- Excellent communication & presentation skills.
- Ability to self-direct & work in an extraordinarily fast-paced & dynamic environment.
- Exceptional time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks & projects.
