Credit Analyst – London, UK.

Our client, a dynamic NGO with a mission to support the building of businesses throughout Africa and South Asia to create jobs & make a lasting difference is looking to recruit a Credit Analyst. The position will be based in London, UK and the successful candidate will report directly to the Portfolio Manager. The successful candidate MUST have a minimum of 3 years of experience working for a DFI ( Development Financial Institute ) & great background in trade finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out thorough credit analysis on Emerging Market Banks & Corporates.
• Support senior members of the team & colleagues in drafting an investment proposal.
• Responsible for reviewing credit analysis & reports.
• Supporting portfolio monitoring including month-end reporting, utilization, covenant & limit monitoring.
• Monitor top exposures & credit deterioration within the portfolio.
• Contribute to country program strategies through market data analysis.
• Contribute & support the team with creating & maintaining market assets.

Qualification:

• A minimum of 3 years working for a DFI.
• Experience with trade finance
• Must have a relevant university degree.
• Completed or obtaining studies towards CFA, ACCA, ACA or MBA will be an added advantage.
• Excellent risk analysis skills with a strong background in macro risk, sector risk and country risk.
• Excellent ability to analyze FI & corporate reports data.
• Background in financial modeling.
• Excellent background working with multiple projects.
• Active interest in investing in developing countries & understanding emerging market environments.
