Trainee Account Executive – Nairobi, Kenya.

Our client, a diversified sugar brokerage business with expertise in supply chain management, finance, sustainability, ingredient supply, packaging supply & processed agriculture input is looking to recruit a Trainee Account Executive. The successful candidate will report directly to the account management team and MUST have solid knowledge & experience in supply chain logistics & international trade.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create & develop regional client relationships.
• Provide technical, market & strategy support to regional clients.
• Create and introduce innovative market solutions for established and new product portfolios.
• Engage with East African legislative and policy bodies.
• Support the account management team in developing supply chain strategies & manage existing delivery agreements.

Qualification:

• Must have a relevant Bachelor’s degree.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years experience working experience.
• Excellent knowledge and experience in International Trade.
• Be conversant with business risk programs including insurance, trade finance & compliance.
• Excellent understanding of supply chain logistics.
• Must be technology savvy with excellent presentation & interpersonal skills.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
