Ann Kananu replaced him. And as he spends his stint outside active politics for the first time in more than a decade Sonko seems to have gone back to the business that earned him a name. The flamboyant politician burst into the headlines for running a number of matatus and entertainment joints in the capital. Despite his impeachment, Sonko has hinted he's not yet done with politics.
