The experience of a Nigerian female who traveled to Zanzibar for a holiday treat has stirred up Twitter. The lady, namely Zainab Oladehinde, says she was sexually assaulted and robbed during his stay at the East Africa. Her experience, which includes claims the authorities failed to deliver justice, has elicited debate. "OMG !! I was super livid at this point. Not only did these people try to rape and kill me, they also stole my $1,100 (Sh126,400). I had one thousand, one hundred dollars in my bag and it was gone also," she says in her narration. In a statement published by Warere hotel management, Zainab incidence was a personal one and the hotel would only reward her the damages as issued by the court in Zanzibar. "The case was brought before Government authorities in April 2021 when it occurred. The police report indicated that this was a personal case, and not negligence on the part of the Warere," the statement read.
