Popular TV journalist Wahiga Mwaura is in mourning. The Citizen TV news anchor has lost her sister namely Gathoni Mwaura. The deceased wore many hats including being an actress, teacher, singer and a medical practitioner. While mourning her sister in law, Joyce Omondi Waihiga, wife to Waihiga Mwaura said: "It is incredibly difficult trying to accept that our tender-hearted, witty, beautiful little sister, Gathoni is suddenly no longer with us. Never had we imagined such a loss." "I've began and erased this sentence more times than I can count. Oh Lord we fix our eyes on you. Our risen King only you, your unfailing love and sufficient grace are the answers to this pain and sorrow." The deceased leaves behind two brothers Waihiga Mwaura and Ngibuini Mwaura. According to the eulogy published in the papers, the late will be buried on Thursday 21st 2022.
