Moses Wetangula says President Uhuru Kenyatta has Raila Odinga will lose in the August 2022 polls. The seasoned politician, who is a member of the Kenya Kwanza coalition led by William Ruto, spoke while addressing a political gathering in Narok. Wetangula who is seeking re-election as Bungoma Senator for a third term wondered why President Kenyatta had skipped Odinga's manifesto launch which was recently held in Nairobi. "It seems the President has foreseen a win for Kenya Kwanza win on August 9 (polls)," said Wetangula. "That's why he's abandoned his project (Raila Odinga) and told him to seek votes on his own. Have you seen Uhuru and Raila walking together in rallies?" President Kenyatta, who doubles up as the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition party chairperson, has lately kept away from the political outfit's activities despite playing a key role in its formation. Odinga and Deputy President William are considered front runners to win the presidential election which also has George Wajackoyah and Wahiga Mwaure as candidates.
