Former Member of Parliament for Mukurweini constituency, Kabando wa Kabando, has taken a swipe at Martha Karua in the ongoing back and forth between them over his decision to quit Narc Kenya. While defending her party, Ms Karua, in a tweet, said Narc is a well-run and institutionalised, clarifying that the party leader and the party were two separate entities. Mr Kabando has since charged back at Ms Karua, saying if indeed Narc Kenya is institutionalised, then other party officials would be visible.

Stop fighting me," Kabando tweeted. https://twitter.com/Wakabando/status/1628291946509701120?s=20 Kabando, who had earlier admitted that had he been successful in his quest for the Nyeri Senatorial seat then he would not have ditched the party, defected from Narc Kenya early this month citing cultistic politics. The 54-year-old Kabando represented Mukurweini constituency for two terms in the National Assembly having been elected for the first time in the 2007 General Election.
Also read: Martha Karua slams DCI for summoning lawyer Danstan Omari He also alleged that the manner in which Ms Karua and Azimio la Umoja - One Kenya Coalition leader Raila Odinga were addressing issues surrounding the country as the opposition does not augur well with him. While some criticised him for quitting the party, saying he was not being loyal to the course, Mr Kabando said he wished Ms Karua all the best in her Azimio ventures.
