Nyali MP Mohammed Ali popularly known as Jicho Pevu has countered the LGBTQ campaign in the country with the scriptures. Ali, who quoted both the Bible and the Quran, said it is important for the country to follow what the scriptures say. Trashing the push from the US government, the journalist-turned-politician said there is no democracy and human rights in LGBTQ, calling it satanism. "If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads," he said quoting Leviticus 20:13.
