Our client, a company that manufactures Edible oils and fats, is currently looking to recruit Sales Representatives. He/she should be a person of high integrity, professional and has a brilliant personality. The sales rep is expected to establish and maintain relationships with customers both old and new, to build repeat business. The ideal candidate MUST have demonstrated experience working in an FMCG environment before.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engaging in superior customer service by making information readily available.
- Demonstrating products and services as deemed necessary by clients and management.
- Scheduling appointments and meetings as necessary.
- Answering questions from clients.
- Makes product knowledge readily available to self and other sales people through various resources.
- Finds ways to sell products in the face of a down market.
- Researches client base to find new types of customers and sells to them accordingly.
- Creates a plan for gaining customers and then retaining them based on warranties or guarantees.
- Analyses and creates a plan for engaging the target market.
- Analyses the competition to create a plan for engagement.
- Makes product appeal to the target market.
- Trains other sales people in the art of selling and meeting deadlines.
- Makes sure that all salespeople meet quota during a given period.
- Sets up booths at trade shows, malls and demonstrates the quality or uses of a product.
Qualifications:
- Relevant Diploma/Degree in Commerce (Sales and Marketing) or related field.
- Must have worked in an FMCG environment.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must have very good written and spoken English.
- Must be very neat, articulate and confident.
- Must have a proven track record of meeting targets within a stipulated period.
- Must be willing to work in a high-pressure environment.
- Must have at least 4 years’ experience working as a salesperson.
