Police claim Makau drove the gathering of bodaboda riders to the station before they assaulted and burnt the structure that was being used as cells.
A group of investigators taking care of the matter said, they were under weight to search for the MP.
"We have been to his homes yet he is no place to be seen. He has exchanged off his cellular telephones yet when you see him let him know we require him," said an officer in charge of the case.

It is at the camp that legal counselor Willie Kimani, his customer Josephat Mwenda and cab driver Joseph Muiruri were held before they were killed and later their bodies found in Ol-Donyo Sabuk River in Machakos County.
The Syokimau Residents Association has condemned the act of burning the camp by local demonstrators saying it portrays them in a bad way.
The also urges the youths not to be used in a bad way by their leaders.
