Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has exhorted Cord leaders who were delegated in the select board for the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) talks to avoid from bringing on pointless postponement in quest for an answer.

He said the Cord group ought to tell the truth to the committee table and disregard plotting towards presenting awkward requests as Jubilee will just concentrate on the underlying issue raised amid the development of the group by parliament.

Talking to residents of Kamukabi town in Kigumo, Kuria said the selected board of trustees would grasp a good discussion in order to achieve transparent electoral process.

He said Kenyans are engaged to hold decisions one year from now and the Jubilee committee group would not permit any plan to put off elections date.

"The decision date as revered in the constitution is August 8, 20016 and we should not consent to threaten Kenyans by putting off the elections because of enthusiasm of a few members of parliament," said Kuria.

He however defended IEBC commissioners and staff spread all through the nation saying they have committed themselves to their works and have proficient vocations to secure.
