Finance Manager.

Our Client a leading manufacturer of synthetic resins is looking to recruit a Finance Manager. The ideal candidate must have good experience in Manufacturing Industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Checking and approval of accounts and submission to MD/CEO monthly.
• Payroll checking and authorization on a monthly basis.
• Checking of payments, approval and signing of cheques on an ongoing basis.
• Prepare quarterly Reports of Finance & Audit Committee (FAC) and Board meeting reports quarterly.
• Attend FAC meetings quarterly.
• Liaising with external Auditors for annual audit and responding to all audit queries annually.
• Confirmation of finished product costing weekly.
• Change of costing of raw materials on system after authorization from MD/CEO on an ongoing basis.
• Prepare transfer prices.
• Negotiate bank rates for foreign currency transfers on an ongoing basis.
• Analysis and prepare report of Management Accounts (P&L & Balance Sheet) monthly.
• Prepare Business Ratio’s at the end of every month.
• Checking of LC terms and conditions on an ongoing basis.
• Develop better and meaningful Reports for easier and timely decision making.
• Oversee Supply Chain cash flow on an ongoing basis.
• Preparation of 3-month cash flows on a monthly basis.
• Prepare & file VAT returns.
• Ensure Export document from sales Department are returned for purpose of VAT claim.
• Reconciliation on monthly basis.
• Participate in monthly stock take.
• Check correctness and accuracy of raw materials and finished products costing within Syspro.
• Verify stock and variance reports as submitted.
• Manage the Finance team effectively.

Qualifications:

• BCom in Finance or any business related degree.
• CPA K.
• At least five (5) years’ experience in senior accounting roles and finance
• Proven skills in business & financial management
• Demonstrate ability to work in a proactively diverse organization.
• Excellent proven interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Manage & supervise the accounts team.
• Effective problem solving and mediation skills.
