Our client a high-quality solar energy provider is looking to fill the position of a Logistics Manager who will support the Western Region, Kenya. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the Warehouse and distribution strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing stock distribution procedures and ensuring proper implementation.
- Planning routes and load scheduling for retail shops deliveries.
- Ensuring that all company vehicles are well maintained, regularly serviced
- Making sure that company vehicles meet the required regulatory standards.
- Monitoring transportation costs and facilitating payment of transporters for outsourced vehicles.
- Negotiating on all logistics & distribution related contracts & acquiring the necessary documentation.
- Preparing and presenting periodic logistics reports to the management.
- Ensure the distribution centre is organized and working efficiently.
- Ensure weekly reports and documentation are achieved reliably.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in procurement/Supply chain management.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Logistics role in a busy environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy.

- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team.
- High level of oral and written communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Commitment to and enthusiasm for the organization’s mission.
