Our client, a Global Security Company with headquarters in Nairobi is looking to recruit a Digital Specialist & an Executive Administrator to the CEO. The successful candidate would be responsible for supporting the organization digital platform through corporate communication, public affairs and e-marketing. In addition to this, he/she will be responsible for providing administrative support to the East Africa MD i.e. managing agendas, emails, incoming and outgoing calls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Required to attend conferences, events and meeting with current and potential clients.
  • Contribute to the internal communication, editorial calendar.
  • Develop content for the internet, blog and social media accounts.
  • Ensure quality control for all brand and marketing related projects.
  • Support rebrand, integration and change initiatives with creative communications.
  • Support, communicate and report on CSR activities for the region.
  • Develop and manage internal communications.
  • Manage PR and press relationships.
  • Dealing with all incoming correspondence and communication on behalf of the MD.
  • Taking minutes of meetings of board & management meetings.
  • Carry out background research and present findings.
  • Organize and attend meetings.
  • Assisting the executive team in general decision making and delegation processes.
  • Arrange travel and accommodation for the Group Executive Team.
  • Assist in the preparations of presentations of employees and clients.

Qualification:

  • Must demonstrate working knowledge of HTML, WordPress, Email Campaign systems, Facebook, Twitter,YouTube, LinkedIn and Instagram.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Candidates with international exposure would have a clear advantage.
  • Candidates who have worked in service industry, i.e. legal, insurance, hospitality, security would have an added advantage.
  • Must have a problem-solving attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent ability to work in remote marketing & communication team members.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
  • Must have a bachelor’s degree.
  • Must have previous personal assistant background.
  • Must have experience working in a multinational organization.
  • Early adopter of emerging technology.
