Ezra Chiloba resurfaces on Twitter, welcomed with a crown of thorns

Embattled IEBC Chief Executive Ezra Chiloba resurfaced on social media recently with a tweet praising rapper Octopizzo.

Twitterville was however not thrilled and welcomed him with ridicule and namecalling.

Chiloba has been lying low  since the Supreme Court nullified the August 8 presidential elections in which he was fingered by the opposition for a series of irregularities and illegalities.

The opposition even included Mr Chiloba’s resignation in their list irreducible minimums before they could participate in the repeat presidential election.

On Thursday evening, the IEBC, CEO tweeted to former radio host Kalekye Mumo praising the guest on the show (Octopizzo) for being reflective and purposeful in thought and action.

The tweet attracted  scathing responses from Kenyans on Twitter who did not let him forget his role in the August 8 bungled elections.

@oredavid said; “hehehe you have finally resurfaced from your hide out. Open the servers first.”

@underratedninja tweeted; “Octopizzo is a good man don’t involve him in your tweets.”

@malika asked; “what you listen to Octopizzo kuna shida.”

@KibetKoech said; “Welcome back sir, you have been silent for long.”

The embattled CEO was once a favorite among ladies during his numerous press briefings in the days after the August 8 general election.

H e got christened “Chilobae” by smitten women who were not shy to post their admiration.

However, the tables turned on September 1 when the Supreme Court nullified the presidential elections due to irregularities in the transmission process.
