Quantity Surveyor

Our client, a leading Kenyan Interior Design and Construction Company, is looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor. The ideal candidate must have 3 to 7 years’ experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities and other documents with the designers and/or client.
• Undertake costs analysis for project work and repairs and providing advice and forecasts about costs.
• Assist in establishing a client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies.
• Performing risk and value management and cost control.
• Prepare and analyze costing for tenders.
• Value completed work and follow up on payments in liaison with the accounts team.
• Maintain awareness of the different ongoing contracts/projects and follow up settlement of final accounts.

Qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelor Degree in Quantity survey or related field.
• Must have 3 to 7 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Must have international experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Good writing and communication skills.
• Good thinking and analyzing skills.
