Our client, a well-established Customized Vehicle Tracking, Fleet Management, Fuel Management and Cargo Tracking Solution Company is looking to recruit a Group Sales Manager to be based in Arusha, Tanzania. The successful candidate MUST have proven experience working in vehicle tracking industry. He/she must be willing to relocate to Arusha and work in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a Sales strategy for the organization for the specified region.
  • Meet regional sales human resource objective by participating in recruiting, selecting, orienting, training and counseling employees.
  • Plan & coordinate sales & marketing functions.
  • Responsible for achieving regional sales operational objectives by contributing to information & recommendations.
  • Implement production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards.
  • Ensure alignment of Regional Sales activities to overall Company business strategy.
  • Creation and management of an effective sales control process & management of sales against targets.
  • Compiling, analyzing and reporting regional sales figures & statistics to senior management.
  • Offer guidance on best customer relationship management practices.
  • Carry out market research.
  • Organize and participate in Trade Fairs & other Market relevant awareness.
  • Recruit regional agents & ensure they meet eligibility criteria.
  • Maintain & expand customer base by counselling & mentoring.
  • Recommend product lines by identifying new product opportunities.
  • Organize regular departmental meeting to discuss pertinent issues.
  • Work closely with field operations & customer care department.
  • Achieve annual sales target.

Qualification:

  • Must have a background working in Vehicle Tracking, Fleet Management, Fuel Management and Cargo Tracking Solution Company.
  • Must be willing to relocate to Arusha, Tanzania.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years in management.
  • Must have an excellent education background with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree qualification.
  • Must be a natural leader.
  • Must have solid sales management skills.
  • Must be detailed oriented, highly organize and a natural go-getter.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills.
  • Detailed oriented & highly organized.
  • Logical & out of the box thinker.
